About

"I have always had a passion for helping people achieve their optimum health goals through chiropractic and healthy living."

Dr Misty Wilgress-Thorn MChiro, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic

Misty first discovered chiropractic through a kayaking injury that she developed during a competition. She was impressed with how chiropractic got to the cause of the problem and how it had positive effects on her pain as well as performance and wellbeing. This prompted her to study at the world renowned AECC University College in Bournemouth.

Misty enjoys helping a variety of patients of all ages from babies to the elderly to allow them to meet their specific health goals with a special interest in pregnancy and paediatrics and looking after the whole family. Misty is Webster certified which is a specific technique that addresses the pelvis and its changes during pregnancy.

Misty has a holistic approach where she takes all aspects of health into account. She attends courses and seminars regularly to implement the latest evidence and research into everyday treatment. She is a member of the United Chiropractic Association (UCA), the International Chiropractic Paediatrics Association (ICPA) and registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

Dr Oliver Harris MChiro, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr Oliver’s journey into chiropractic began in his early teens after a series of sports injuries from judo led him to seek care. He was fascinated by how chiropractic helped him recover without relying on medication — and by the time he was 14, he knew this was the path he wanted to follow. That passion led him to study at AECC University College in Bournemouth, where he graduated with a Master of Chiropractic degree.

Oliver enjoys supporting people of all ages and abilities to live more comfortably and confidently in their bodies. He has a particular interest in helping those recovering from sports injuries — whether it's regaining strength, restoring movement, or returning to high-level performance. It’s especially rewarding for him to help patients who are struggling with everyday activities like walking, turning their head, or simply moving without pain.

He encourages all his patients to stay active in ways that support their long-term health. With a strong belief in movement as medicine, Oliver regularly trains in judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, plays rugby, and enjoys gym-based strength and conditioning. He brings this passion for sport and functional movement into his approach to care.

Oliver is currently completing the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine and has a keen interest in the role of chiropractic in sports performance and injury recovery. He is a member of both the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC), where he is also enrolled on the Post-Registration Training (PRT) programme.

"I enjoy tailoring my care to the individual patient to be making sure they reach their specific goals."
